The terms governing bookings, services, and use of the Kaboti Surf website.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your booking and participation in surf lessons, surf camps, water sports activities, and equipment rental provided by Kaboti Surf, based in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Spain. By booking with us or using kabotisurf.com, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings and payment
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received via our authorised payment providers (Redsys or Stripe). Prices include 7% IGIC where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule bookings due to weather, sea conditions, or insufficient participants.
3. Participant responsibility
You must declare any medical condition, injury, or limitation that could affect your safety in the water. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian on land at all times. You must follow all instructor and lifeguard instructions during sessions.
4. Equipment and behaviour
Rental equipment must be returned in the same condition. You are responsible for any loss or damage caused by misuse or negligence. We may suspend or end any session for behaviour that endangers participants, instructors, or third parties, with no refund.
5. Insurance and liability
Surfing and water sports involve inherent risks. Kaboti Surf carries civil liability insurance as required by Spanish law, but participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for personal accidents, loss of personal items, or indirect damages beyond what Spanish consumer law mandates.
6. Photography and media
We may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional use. If you do not wish to appear in our materials, please tell your instructor before the session begins, and we will respect your request.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Our cancellation policy is published on a separate page and forms part of these terms. Please read it before booking.
8. Intellectual property
All content on kabotisurf.com — text, images, logos, video — is owned by Kaboti Surf or our licensors and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Las Palmas, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection rules establish otherwise.
